On Behalf of Baron Valance Dala
This message is publicly posted the evening of the Gathering, immediately after closing court.
Copies are dispatched to a variety of other locations where only Cainite eyes might see them, and posted over the subsequent days.
Let it be known by all Cainites in Yorkshire and throughout Avalon that on this evening, in public and in proper observation of the forms and practices of Cainite Society, Valance Dala acquired praxis over this domain. If you reside in the domain of Yorkshire, he is your baron.
The current composition of the Court of Baron Dala is:
Chamberlain: Reynard Tisserand
Sheriff: Mors the Feared
Warmaster: Sigfried le Danois
Please note: As yet, Baron Dala has not filled the positions of Seneschal or Keeper and has keen interest in filling both.
The Rights of the Baron are these:
In exchange for these rights, the Baron is responsible for upholding the traditions, protecting the Cainites of his domain, and shepherding the flock of kine.
Any residents of Yorkshire who are unclear on the finer points of how to behave in civilized Cainite society, from matters of status, to prestation, to the traditions, behavior at court, or the like, are welcome to speak with me, and I will be happy to discreetly ensure your education on such matters is appropriate.
Signed,
Chamberlain Reynard Tisserand

A reminder for any Cainites who require it
The Rights of the Baron are these:
- Destruction: Only the baron may destroy or license the destruction of a Cainite in the domain.
- Siring: One may not embrace new Cainites without the permission of the baron.
- Domain & Feeding: Domain is bequeathed by the Baron, and properly held domain is to be respected. Feeding in any area is permitted or restricted at the Baron's behest (or, by extension the behest of those he has granted the privilege of domain).
In exchange for these rights, the Baron is responsible for upholding the traditions, protecting the Cainites of his domain, and shepherding the flock of kine.

Chamberlain Reynard Tisserand
