Father Molendarius
Legend has it that when he visited Jerusalem, a monk at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher taught Father Molendarius a prayer that would bring aid to the sick and hungry, but only those who showed great faith. He had to survive three perilous trials to accomplish it, but he persevered through each one. Fire, ice, and darkness did he stride through, and never once faltered. Father Molendarius swore that he would use this blessing well, and only the most persistent would receive his aid. For he knows that the tongue is quick, but the heart can be black. The monk walked away, having taught him the benediction, but when Father Molendarius looked after him, the monk had vanished, brought up directly into Heaven, revealing himself to be an angel of the Lord!
Any who are rebuffed by the sure to be soon saint, are having their faith tested and should redouble their efforts. Those whose suffering is increasing are wicked, and likely in league with the Devil's minions that have been plaguing us.
